London Bombings Relief Charitable Fund Report design
In 2005 the London Bombings Relief Charitable Fund (LBRCF) came together to distribute funds, donated spontaneously in response to the bombings that took place on London’s transport system on the 7th of July that year.
These funds were donated by members of the public, given by government, charitable trusts, foundations and private sector companies to help the individuals involved. The fund distributed just under £12m of donations and was then closed having carried out the task it was set up to deliver.
Ten years on and Fink Creative were asked to design a report which evaluated how the fund responded to the crisis and lessons that could be learned for any future serious incidents in which distributing charitable funds to individuals would be required.
The London Bombings Relief Charitable Fund report design required a simple, clean and respectful identity and layout for the text based report. This was then distributed far and wide around the grant-making community, central government and others involved and was well received.
